A carve-out from NXP forced Ampleon into rethinking their comprehensive semiconductor tooling landscape and in parallel driving towards fast carve-out. They chose ICC, obtaining an end-to-end software defined environment offering all required semiconductor tooling for their global semicon design community in the US, Europe and Asia. Requirements for the environment were explicitly for performance (batch plus interactive), semiconductor design process support, security, and global availability.
