Step 1 is to formulate hypotheses, by domain experts with knowledge of the business, who are able to pose questions that can be answered with “true” or “false”. These hypotheses are then modeled in a machine learning model. Choosing the right algorithm and assigning the right parameters is an art in itself. We have automated this art using the “Itility Machine Learning Brute Force Model”.
